Please keep dogs on leads at all times unless specifically otherwise directed. People should also where possible remain seated unless otherwise directed.  This stops dogs becoming overly excited or distressed, and ensures you do not distract your instructor who is doing the ultmost to help all the people and dogs in the class.  Canine School for Skills offers a quality training service and expects the same commitment from the dog owners in attendance.

Dogs displaying behaviour deemed to be detrimental to that dog’s mental or physical well-being or any others present will be asked to leave. Any monies paid for classes, courses or workshops will not be refunded but may be set against appropriate further behavioural training.

You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your dog while attending training. You must not knowingly book a dog that shows aggression onto a training course. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs in and around the training venue. Please ensure you come to class suitably prepared with pooh bags to clean up any dog waste.

Well behaved children that are aged 7 years and over are very welcome to puppy classes as they are helpful to the puppy socialising process. However, children must be kept from disturbing the class. Children who are noisy and run around can teach dogs to fear or give chase! Parents must explain to their children how important it is for them to be well behaved, and not get too excited in the presence of their dog or other people’s dogs, and not to go up to other people’s dogs unless directed to do so. Consistently unruly children will be excluded from class. Young people under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and should not be left to bring the dog to classes on their own under any circumstances.

Should your bitch come into season during the course, you may not be able to attend please contact Canine School for Skills should this occur. Alternative arrangements may be possible but not guaranteed.
